Areté Health PT and its affiliated brands, including ProFlex Physical Therapy and Brunswick Physical Therapy (collectively, “Areté,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information of individuals who apply for employment with us (“candidates,” “you,” or “your”).
 

This Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data submitted to us during the recruiting and hiring process, including data collected through our applicant-tracking system (ATS) and recruiting partners.

  • Employment and education history, résumé / CV details, skills, and qualifications

  • References, interview notes, and communications about your candidacy

  • Information voluntarily provided in cover letters or questionnaires

  • Any other information you choose to provide to us during the hiring process

We may receive this information directly from you, from third-party recruiting sources (such as agencies, referrals, or professional networking sites), or from publicly available sources consistent with applicable law.

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To evaluate your qualifications and suitability for employment opportunities

  • To communicate with you regarding your application, interviews, or employment status

  • To manage and improve our recruiting processes and related analytics

  • To comply with legal obligations and internal policies

  • To maintain records relating to hiring decisions

Our lawful bases for processing may include your consent, our legitimate business interests in evaluating and hiring candidates, compliance with legal obligations, and, where applicable, steps taken at your request prior to entering into an employment contract.

All service providers are required to handle your personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our instructions.

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the recruiting process or to meet legal or regulatory requirements. Data may be archived for a defined period for record-keeping or future consideration, in line with our internal retention policy.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your personal data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than your country of residence (including the United States). We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data-protection laws and safeguard your rights.

Our recruiting process is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data to us, please contact us immediately.
