Arete Health Launches with MBF Healthcare Partners and Acquires Brunswick PT and ProFlex PT

On September 9, 2025, Arete Health officially launched as a new portfolio company formed by MBF Healthcare Partners and CEO Eric DeYoung. Our mission: to build a multi-state outpatient physical therapy platform rooted in culture, clinical excellence, and the pursuit of becoming 1% better every day.

The launch included the acquisitions of Brunswick Physical Therapy (North Carolina) and ProFlex Physical Therapy (Maryland and Virginia), bringing Arete’s network to 11 clinics serving thousands of patients across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.
