At Areté Health, growth is never just about adding locations. It’s about expanding access to care, strengthening communities, and creating more opportunities for clinicians to lead and thrive.

We’re proud to announce the addition of Virginia Rehabilitation & Wellness, with locations in Chantilly and Fairfax, Virginia, and Summerville Physical Therapy & Balance for Adults in South Carolina.

With these new partnerships, Areté Health now operates 16 outpatient rehabilitation clinics across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.

Areté Health clinic acquisition expansion in Virginia and South Carolina

Strengthening Our Presence Across Regions

The addition of Virginia Rehabilitation & Wellness deepens our presence in the Mid-Atlantic, while Summerville Physical Therapy & Balance for Adults expands our reach in the Southeast. Each clinic brings a strong local reputation, a commitment to patient-centered care, and a team of clinicians dedicated to making a difference in their communities.

Together, these partnerships allow us to continue building meaningful regional density while ensuring patients have greater access to high-quality outpatient rehabilitation services.

A Growth Strategy Built on People and Purpose

Since launching in 2025, Areté Health has grown through a disciplined approach centered on clinician leadership, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability.

That growth began with the acquisition of Carolina Rehabilitation in North Carolina, followed by ProFlex Physical Therapy across Maryland and Virginia. Each step has been intentional, focused on aligning with teams who share a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Looking Ahead

As we continue into 2026, Areté Health plans to expand further through our Operating Partner model, working alongside entrepreneurial clinicians to open new clinics in underserved and growing communities.

“Our mission continues to be centered around creating access to care while supporting clinicians in operating at the top of their licensure,” said Eric DeYoung, Chief Executive Officer of Areté Health. “We are building an organization focused on long-term clinical excellence, strong community relationships, operational discipline, and meaningful partnership with the professionals who lead patient care every day.”

Built for Clinicians. Designed for Communities.

Our Operating Partner model is designed to support local clinical leaders with the tools, structure, and resources needed to grow, while maintaining the identity and relationships that make each clinic unique.

We’re excited to welcome these teams and continue building something meaningful together.
