One Year Later: Reflecting on the First Chapter of Areté Health PT

On June 18, 2025, Areté Health PT officially began its journey with the acquisition of Brunswick Physical Therapy.

At the time, it was more than a business transaction. It was the beginning of a vision. A vision built on the belief that great physical therapy organizations can maintain their local identity, culture, and community impact while benefiting from the support, resources, and shared purpose of something larger.

One year later, we find ourselves reflecting not only on what has been accomplished, but on the people who made it possible.

Over the past twelve months, our organization has grown in ways both visible and invisible. We have welcomed new teammates, expanded into new markets, added new clinic brands, and continued investing in the systems, technology, and infrastructure that help support exceptional patient care. But growth has never been the goal on its own.

The true measure of this first year can be found in the relationships built, the patients served, the communities impacted, and the teammates who show up every day committed to making a difference.

The word Areté represents excellence, virtue, and the pursuit of becoming the best version of ourselves. That pursuit is not a destination. It is a daily commitment. It is reflected in the clinician helping a patient take their first pain-free steps. It is reflected in the front desk coordinator creating a welcoming experience. It is reflected in the leaders, therapists, assistants, and support teams who consistently choose to get 1% better every day.

As we celebrate this milestone, we are reminded that our story is still being written.

Brunswick Physical Therapy will always hold a special place in the history of Areté Health PT as the organization that helped launch this vision. Since that first acquisition, we have continued to grow our family of brands while remaining committed to preserving what makes each clinic unique.

To every teammate who has been part of this first year, thank you.
